Smoking Georgia Peach, affectionately known as Peaches, is an 8 year old APHA mare that checks all of the boxes. Sired by Little Model Gunner and standing 15 hands, with some of the coolest markings and a beautiful bald face, Peaches is a true show stopper. She is full of personality and is ready to soar in any direction with anyone in the family. This mare has been used across the list from being a lesson horse, to sorting cattle, to trail riding through the woods or on the beach, she’s extremely versatile and willing. She has excelled through all aspects of my program and is truly a hard one to see leave.
Peaches has all the buttons and her ride will always make her a first choice. She neck reins beautifully and has an extremely soft trot that you are sure to have no problem sitting. She will walk, trot and lope on a loose rein and has a nice stop. Peaches is extremely broke with all the buttons to move her shoulders, ribs and hips out. She side passes and lopes both leads in a nice, slow lope and is truly a dream to ride. If that doesn’t impress you enough, take her bridle off and she will do it all again BRIDLE-LESS. She will lopes for miles and slow to a walk without ever getting hot. She’s extremely easy to ride and responsive to leg pressure. She would set any beginner up for success or please the most experienced rider.
Peaches has been through the piney woods of South Georgia and experienced all kinds of wildlife and obstacles. She will cross water, bridges, logs and ditches. She is not spooky towards any traffic, tractors or animals. She has been ridden double saddled and bareback and is soft both ways. Not only is Peaches a dream in the saddle, her ground manners only sweeten the deal. She is the first to greet you in even the biggest pasture or will be just as happy stalled. She stands quietly to be groomed, saddled, bathed and for the farrier. She is happy to go to work or to simply spend time with anyone, she will be happy with the attention. Peaches loads and backs off a trailer easily and is quiet being hauled anywhere. You can ride her in the front or back of a group or take her off alone and she will not cause a fuss either way. This mare is truly one that you spend a lot time searching for. She has the capabilities to take someone far. This is a horse that only comes around once in a lifetime!!
