I have since spent my time as a trainer for Through the Pines Walking Horses where I have been able to start colts, finish out plantation horses and learn all aspects of equine reproduction, care and management. It has been so rewarding to be allowed to learn under the people I have and I am always looking to learn more. I have fallen in love with building the relationships I do with my clients and the incredible horses I get the honor to work with. Although I have gained much of my knowledge in a barn, I have also earned my Bachelor's of Science, concentrated in Livestock Production from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. During my time at ABAC, I met my husband, Caleb and he has really pushed me to grow this program. Without my husband and the incredible horses and people that surround it, this program wouldn't be what it is.
I am so thankful. My barn is always open for anyone to come say hi and see the horses and program.
Ever since I can remember, the biggest love in my life has come from horses. I was blessed to grow up with grandparents who raised me riding Tennessee Walking Horses and attending field trials. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to make horses my career. I went on to work for W2 Horses to ride gaited horses, soaking up as much information as possible. After W2, I went on to learn under Mike Major in Bowie, TX where I was able to learn his colt starting techniques and ride some of his reining horses.
