If you’re looking for your next project horse or field trial prospect, this is the one for you. Romeo is a very stout, athletic gelding standing 15.2. He is solid black and not quick to sun bleach. I am leaving for Texas in three weeks and will not be returning until August so, I need to move him before leaving. He is an easy keeper, loves attention and will be the first to meet you at the gate. Stands to be bathed, groomed, and saddled. You can pick up all four feet but still needs more work with farrier. He is hobble broke and will stand tied. Has a great slow gait or racking gait, whatever speed you want is what you get. Soft mouth and will side pass both directions. Picking up on neck reining and has a decent stop. Needs work on his backing and lope. Loads and backs on trailer but likes to kick the side when stopped. He is a very forward, pushy horse and needs more work on his personal space. I have taken him to work dogs and field trials and he is fine with all. Can shoot a gun off or around him and road dogs. He is perfectly fine to go out with a large group or alone, will act the same either time. Does not mind being left behind in group or leading. Not spooky towards cars, tractors, any water or obstacles. Will walk through thick woods or mud. I have never had him buck or rear. He is not friendly with other horses in turnout. Will not tear down fence but likes to kick at others. Again, this is not a finished horse and needs to go to someone to finish him out. He is healthy with a clean set of coggins and UTD on everything. Shod on the front.
