MCR Dashin Olena, affectionately known as Gus is a five year old AQHA stallion standing at 14.2 hands. Gus is sired by the great Mr. Cinnamon Roll who is a sire of over $205,000 in progeny earnings and his dam is a mare out of Smart Chic Olena and a granddaughter of Smart Little Lena. Gus’ pedigree alone is enough to impress but watching this stallion’s performance, movements and manners seals the deal. You can’t go wrong with this stallion. He would excel on the ranch, trails or in the arena or take him to the barn, breed him and he will produce. Gus has been offered for breeding in the past couple seasons and already has some fillies, yearlings and weanlings on the ground. His disposition, looks and pedigree make him an exceptional sire. Although Gus is a proven stud, you would never know. He has been ridden with and stalled next to mares and he does not cause any fuss. He does not tear down fences in turn out or cause any trouble. Gus is truly a sweetheart. He has a huge personality and is always the first to greet you. You can catch him in even the biggest pasture or he will be quiet in the barn. You can keep him stalled or turned out and jump right back on him after time off. He does not offer to buck and does not get fresh. He is very safe and anyone can ride him despite being a stallion. Grab your friend and a halter and the two of you can jump on him bareback. He stands quietly for the farrier, clipping, bathing, grooming and saddling. He is even broke to hobble. Gus has all the buttons and is always willing to respond to the softest hand and pressure. He neck reins or will move solely off your leg and seat. You can move his shoulder, rib and hip off your leg making him easy to take anywhere. He will side pass both directions, stops nicely and backs quietly. You can flex him either way and he bends nicely. Gus also lunges both directions. He lopes both leads softly and on a loose rein. He has a beautiful transition from his trot to lope and is a dream to ride. He is very athletic and moves with ease no matter the terrain. This stallion is not spooky. He has been ridden through town and drive-thrus and does not bat an eye at any traffic. You can carry a flag on him or shoot confetti and he will not spook. He is good with dogs, leaf blowers, water, bridges and all terrain. Hook him to anything and he will drag it with confidence. Gus has seen many miles on the trail and just as many in the arena and is versatile and ready to go in any direction.
MCR Dashin Olena is not one you want to miss. At the age of only five he has so much potential and life ahead of him. Start your breeding farm, work off of him or enjoy him on the trails. No matter the job, he is going to excel.
